Linden, Jan 26 -- Shirley Maxine Maltsberger, eight year old daughter of Clarence and Margaret Howard Maltsberger died at Home Hospital in Lafayette Tuesday night at 6:50 o'clock. Death was due to complications following an operation. The little girl was born Oct 19, 1924 the daughter of Clarence and Margaret Howard Maltsberger. She was in the third grade at the Linden School. Surviving are her parents; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Chase of Lafayette; Reba at home; two brothers, Woodrow and Dale; and four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Maltsberger and Mr. and Mrs. JW Howard. Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at 10:30 at the parents home southeast of here with Rev. HM Ivey in charge. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. - kbz
